DG Headlight Restore & More – Return & Refund Policy
At DG Headlight Restore & More, we stand behind the quality of our products and services. Please review the policy below before requesting a return, exchange, or refund.
Service Policy
Because our services are customized and labor-based, all completed or partially completed services are non-refundable.
This includes:
- Headlight restoration
- Lens replacements
- Custom lighting work
- Mobile services
- Installations or retrofits
If an appointment or custom service is cancelled after work has already begun, any deposit collected may be retained to cover labor, materials, and scheduling costs.
Product Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return, products must:
- Be unused and uninstalled
- Include original packaging
- Be returned in resellable condition
- Include proof of purchase
Products that have been used, installed, modified, or damaged after delivery are not eligible for return and will instead fall under any applicable warranty coverage.
The following items cannot be returned:
- Clearance or closeout items
- Gift cards
- Opened electrical components or bulbs
- Custom-order parts
- Used products
Return Condition & Restocking Fees
All returned merchandise is inspected once received. Refund amounts are based on the condition of the returned item.
Like-New Condition
Factory sealed or in excellent condition
Eligible for up to 90% refund or full store credit
Opened Package / Minor Wear
Packaging opened or lightly damaged
Eligible for up to 80% refund or 90% store credit
Damaged or Non-Resellable
Product or packaging heavily damaged
Eligible for partial refund or store credit only
DG Headlight Restore & More reserves the right to determine final return condition after inspection.
Refund Policy
Refund Timeframes
- Within 45 days: Refund issued back to original payment method
- 46–90 days: Refund issued as store credit
- After 90 days: Store credit may be issued at our discretion
Orders originally paid using store credit will be refunded back as store credit.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
If a free shipping promotion was applied to the original purchase, the actual shipping cost may be deducted from the refund total if the order is returned.
Once your return has been received and inspected, you will receive an email notification regarding approval status. Approved refunds are typically processed within several business days.
Exchanges
We gladly accept exchanges on eligible products within 60 days of purchase.
Items being exchanged must be returned in clean, like-new condition with original packaging intact.
If returned merchandise cannot be resold as new, a reduced credit amount may apply or the exchange may be denied.
Need your replacement faster? You may place a new order first and return the original item afterward.
Shipping Information
Customers are responsible for return shipping expenses unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
When shipping headlights or fragile parts, we strongly recommend:
- Heavy bubble wrap
- Secure packaging
- Protective filler material
- Shipping insurance
- A trackable carrier such as UPS or FedEx
DG Headlight Restore & More is not responsible for damage caused during transit due to insufficient packaging.
For shipments valued over $75, we highly recommend purchasing shipping insurance.

EU Customers – Right of Cancellation
Customers located within the European Union have the right to cancel eligible orders within 14 days of receiving their goods without providing a reason, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU.
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must contact DG Headlight Restore & More at Info@dgheadlight.com within 14 days of delivery.
Once the returned item is received and inspected, eligible refunds will be processed within 14 days.
Please note:
- Returned items must still meet our return eligibility requirements.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise required by law.
- This cancellation right does not apply to:
- Custom-made or personalized products
- Special-order items
- Services that have already been completed or started with customer approval
- Installed or used products
